Surge Speed Ratio
Displays a calculated value that the control uses to
determine where the minimum PRV position to avoid
surge will occur at, based on differential pressure
across the compressor.
Surge Offset
Displays the economizer setpoint offset needed to de-
crease the lift requirements of the Economizer Com-
pressor and keep it out of surge.
Economizer Level OK
Displays a green if the Economizer Liquid Level
is below the 90% threshold for start permissive, and
displays a if the Economizer Liquid Level is NOT
below the 90% threshold for start permissive (provided
by level sensor LE-116). Must be satisfied for 20 sec-
onds to allow start of the economizer compressor.
Leaving Above Setpoint
Displays a green if the leaving chilled liquid is above
the programmed setpoint, and displays a if the leav-
ing chilled liquid is meeting or below the programmed
setpoint. Must be satisfied for 20 seconds to allow start
of the economizer compressor.
Intermediate Target OK
Displays a green if the Economizer saturation tempera-
ture is above the Intermediate Target Setpoint, and dis-
plays a if the Economizer saturation temperature is be-
low the Intermediate Target Setpoint. Must be satisfied for
20 seconds to allow start of the economizer compressor.

Displays Economizer Saturation Temperature Control
Process Variable.
SP
Displays the Economizer Temperature Setpoint.
IC-160B Demand Limit
Motor FLA
Displays the percentage of FLA (Full Load Amps) the
Economizer Motor is currently drawing.
Limit SP
Displays the Demand Limit Setpoint in percentage of
Full Load motor current.
Min Start
Displays the minimum PRV position commanded at
the time of starting the economizer compressor.
TY-100B PRV
Displays the open percentage of the Economizer Com-
pressor PRV.
Open (LED)
Illuminates when the Economizer Compressor PRV is
opening.
Close (LED)
Illuminates when the Economizer Compressor PRV is
closing.
PROGRAMMABLE
Economizer Compressor Mode
Allows the user to select the operation of the Econo-
mizer Compressor as follows:
• OFF - Economizer Compressor operation is dis-
abled.
• ENABLE - Economizer Compresssor is permit-
ted start to meet the economizer target, in econo-
mizing mode.
• BOOST - Economizer Compressor will addition-
ally attempt to control the Leaving Chilled Liq-
uid Temperature when the Primary Compressor is
fully loaded. It is permitted to run in economizing
and burst modes.
