• Use to display information about multicast protocols enabled on the router.
• Use the brief option to display a summary of information rather than a detailed
description.
• Field descriptions
• Protocol—Name of the multicast protocol
• Type—Mode of the multicast protocol
• For PIM—Sparse
• For MLD—Local
• Interfaces
• registered—Number of interfaces on which the protocol is configured
• owned—Number of interfaces that a protocol owns. If you configure only MLD on
an interface, MLD owns the interface. However, if you configure MLD and PIM on
the same interface, PIM owns the interface.
• Registered interfaces—Includes the following information about interfaces on which
the protocol is configured
