Command Reference
TSC
The TSC command enables or disables the time stamp function.
This command is effective for ASCII data output format. Refer to “FMT” on page
4-59.
Execution
Conditions
Time stamp function is not available for the following measurement modes:
• Quasi-pulsed spot measurement (MM 9)
• Linear search measurement (MM 14)
• Binary search measurement (MM 15)
Syntax TSC mode
Parameters mode : Time stamp function mode. Integer expression.
When the function is enabled, the E5260/E5270 returns the time data
with the measurement data. The time data is the time from when the
timer is cleared until the measurement is started. Refer to
“Data Output
Format” on page 1-22.
Remarks To read the time data with the best resolution (100 μs), the timer must be cleared
every
100 sec or less for the FMT1, 2, or 5 data output format, or
every 1000 sec or less for the FMT 11, 12, 15, 21, 22, or 25 data output format.
