7. Place the hand throttle lever to the
mid speed position.

8. Depress the clutch pedal. (The en-
gine cannot be started unless the
range shift lever is in the "Neutral"
position)

Insert the key into the key switch
and turn it to the "ON" position and
maintain it until the preheat lamp is
turned off (approx. 8 sec.).
