2. Allow the tractor time to cool off be-
fore servicing any part that may
have become hot while the tractor
was running.
3. You must always stop the engine
before refueling the tractor. Avoid
overlling the tractor or spilling the
fuel.
4. Before jump starting a dead bat
-
tery, read and follow all of the in-
structions.
5. Keep a first aid kit and fire extin-
guisher handy at all times.
6. Do not remove the radiator cap
while the coolant is hot. When cool,
slowly rotate the cap to the first
stop and allow sufficient time for
excess pressure to escape. After
all the pressure is released remove
the cap completely. If your tractor
is equipped with a coolant recovery
tank, add coolant there rather than
to the radiator.
