CHECK CHAIN
Check Chain are used to adjust the
side sway that your implement has
while in use. Check Chain are also
used to center the implement on the
rear of the tractor.

1. Adjust the angle of the implement
to the desired position by shorten-
ing or lengthening the top link.
2. The proper length of the top link
varies according to the type of im-
plement being used.
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
Be sure to stop the engine.
Do not stand between tractor
and implement unless parking
brake is applied.
Before attaching or detaching
implement, locate the tractor
and implement on a rm level
surface.
Whenever an implement or
other attachment is connect-
ed to the tractor 3-point hitch,
check full range of operation
for interference, binding or
P.T.O separation.
Adjust the check chain so that the
implement can move 5 to 6 cm(2.0 to
2.4 in.) laterally.
Check chain shouid be tight enough
to prevent excessive implement
movement when implement is in
raised position.
WARNING
Use caution when adjusting
the check chain. Heavy imple-
ment can move causing harm.
