Smart Touch Smart Touch offers multiple scanning functions for easy operation of your
scanner.
Selecting Smart Touch from the Ready menu displays the Smart Touch
shortcuts. Choose one of the shortcuts to initiate scanning, using that function.
Displaying the Operator
Log
The Operator Log provides error code information, such as the time the error
occurred, the error code and a brief description of the error.
The messages that are displayed in the log are only those messages that have
occurred since the scanner was powered on. When you turn the power off or
the scanner goes into Standby or Low Power mode, the Operator Log on the
Operator Control Panel will be cleared.
