1. Main manual
1.1. General
• The KONE UniDrive
TM
for automatic sliding door control units is designed to open and close sliding doors as
reliably as possible and to grant persons a safe passage.
• If the door operator is damaged, if persons are injured or damage is inflicted in any other way by improper use or
by improper application of technical data and/or equipment KONE DEURSYSTEMEN BV will accept no
liability, supply parts under guarantee, or carry out repairs.
• Only Qualified persons should carry out electrical connections to the electricity mains.
• Programming of motor types and input functions may only be carried out by manufacturer trained and
certified persons. (see § 1.6 for starting up cycle).
• Electrical connections to- or on the PCB should only be carried out after switching off the line and the optional
battery power supply.

TM
The KONE UniDrive
TM
sliding door unit consists of:
- A control unit with connection terminal
- A power supply
- A programme switch
It has the ability to drive a variety of different dc motor type’s (programmable with the PSION programmer),
locking devices and sensor type’s for both opening and safety.
Max door weight : DS = 2 x 120 kg. or ES 1 x 180 kg. with the UniDrive
TM
motor.
The desired locking device type and output voltages are selectable by dipswitch- and or jumper settings.
Optional

With the extension more functions are programmable.
- For power fail operation, a battery unit or a battery board are available.
