2.11. Added functions in Unidrive software version 1.35 and Psion 1.30
1. Added function programmable output PGS=AUT
The output will be activated when the door is in automatic mode. That could be either by PGS or programmable input
2. Added function programmable output PGS=ONE_WAY
The output will be activated when the door is in One Way traffic mode. That could be either by PGS or progr. input
3. Added function programmable output PGS=CLOSED
The output will be activated when the door is in Closed mode. That could be either by PGS or programmable input
4. Added function programmable output PGS=OPEN
The output will be activated when the door is in Open mode. That could be either by PGS or programmable input
5. Added function programmable output Elevator Call
The output will be activated when the door is opened by either Porter (or NS –Portermode) or Outside
An additional time delay could be set, Elevator Call Delay that will delay the activation of the output. This could be useful when door and
elevator are not close to each other. The output is activated for 3 seconds. Re-activating of the output will only be done when the door has
reached its closed position again, to avoid repeated Elevator Call signals
6. Added function programmable input RESET
With this function the UniDrive can be reset. Reset behavior is equal to switching off/on mains power.
To enter the Reset mode, the input must be activated for at least 5 seconds.
7. Added function Error Buzzer On/Off
Default: ON This function enables switching off the error buzzer. So in case of an error, the error is signaled by flashing display and PGS
only, no error sound is produced.
8. Added function DIN18650 Close
Default = OFF. When this function is switched ON, the door will close with a lower speed and will be switched to Low Speed on an
earlier position to meet the requirements of the DIN18650 (prEN12650) on dynamic closing force limitations. Risk analysis can tell if this
function should be switched on
9. Added function DIN18650 Open
Default = OFF. When this function is switched ON, the door will open with a lower speed and will be switched to Low Speed on an earlier
position to meet the requirements of the DIN18650 (prEN12650) on dynamic opening force limitations. Risk analysis can tell if this
function should be switched on
10. Added function programmable input FC_Like Tested
This input behavior is equal to FC_Like, however this input can be used with tested safety sensors

11. Added function KeepClosed Default = OFF This function will keep the door closed with a small motor current, and will
prevent the door from opening by hand easily by increasing the closing force when the door is moved.
Position on witch the door will react on EasyCome is increased when this function is switched on.
12. Short-circuit detection on OUT1 and OUT2 of photocell inputs is added, to meet TüV requirements
As a consequence on this, no links between OUT1, OUT2 and TEST are accepted anymore!
When not using Photocell inputs, connect these inputs to TEST with a diode. See chapter1.3.3.1
13. UniDrive function is extended to WM1 hermetical doors.
With the UniDrive (and attached motor KONE Unidrive Tandem type) a WM1 hermetical door can be build up to a total door weight of
140kg
14. Added programmable input function CloseAtError . This input function is equal to the PGS function Close At Error.
When this function is activated (and kept activated), the door will close at low speed and all other inputs but Porter (or NS-Porter mode)
will be ignored. With this function a door in almost any error mode can be closed.
When the door reached is closed position, the PGS will be forced into the Closed mode. Only Porter (NS-Porter mode) will open the door
when the input is activated. As a consequence on this an error in any input as Porter and NS-Porter mode will overrule this function.
15. Added function Reset Service counter without PSION. With this function it is possible to reset the service counter without using a
PSION programmer. The following steps should be taken: Switch PGS to OPEN, when the door is open, Press LearnMode button (on the
connection board) for more than 5 seconds. A beep of the buzzer will signal the reset of the counter back to 0.
16. Added full support for the 2-wire UWS-PGS. Within this software version, the 2-wire UWS-PGS is supported on the Extension
module or 2-wire PGS adapter. The UWS-PGS can also be used in combination with the UniDrive PGS.
Important:
• This UniDrive software should be used together with PSION version V1.30.
• Connections can only be made with the power switched off. Otherwise, new added connections or functions will be
ignored!
