WRITE UNIT
2-D-4
2 UNIT EXPLANATION
The analog image data from the CCD sensor is
A/D-converted by the ADB (A/D converter
board), then sent to the ICB (image control
board) for data processing. The processed
image data is converted into a laser beam on the
LDB (laser driver board), and then the beams are
radiated onto the drum surface. Two beams are
emitted per laser diode. Two lines of image data
is written per scan.
The write start reference position is detected by
the INDXSB (index sensor board). The ICB has
an E-RDH (electronic RDH) function to store dig-
itized image data. Various editing functions can
be performed based on this data.
