3.14 Maintenance procedure of the fusing section
3.14.1 Removing/reinstalling the fusing unit
Caution
• Since the fusing section gets hot immediately after turning off the main power switch (SW1) or the
power switch (SW2), you may suffer a burn. Be sure to conduct the operations when the tempera-
ture goes down sufficiently.
A. Procedure
1. Open ADU.

2. Remove the right cover /Up.
(See P.138)
3. Open the conveyance unit.
(See P.29)
4. Loosen the screw [1] and remove the front auxil-
iary cover [2].
