6 OPERATION
Thispartdescribesthefunctionsandproceduresforoperatingtheprinter.
CAUTION:
Failuretoobservetherequisiteheatinguptimeofminimum15minutesleadstoirriversable
damagetothetextcharacters/clichés,thehotrollandthecodingunit.
6.1 Powering up
1. Checkbyvisualinspectionfordamageoftheprinter.
2. Checkifalloftherelevantcablesareconnected.
3. Settheairpressureto0.4MPa,withtheairregulatoronthesideofthecontrolbox.
4. Switchthecontrolboxon.Theprogrambootswhiletheprintertypeisdisplayed.

12. PresstheTESTkeytomakeatestprint.
13. ChecktheprintqualityandchangetheSETTIMEand/orSETTEMPparameterifnecessary(step10).
