1. General
This application manual describes the correct assembly and dismantlement as well
as the usage of mobile aluminium scaffolds. It contains important safety instruc-
tions. Carefully read all instructions in this document and familiarise yourself with
the relevant safety regulations.
Mobile Aluminium Scaffold is a modular system for which a range of optional
accessories is available. All available modules, including optional modules, are de-
scribed in this manual. Some of these modules might not be part of your system.
For certain uses, the system must be equipped with additional parts (e.g. ballast
weights) to ensure safety.
In order to enable you to decide whether you require such auxiliary parts, please
read all chapters of the manual.
The Scaffold-system can be equipped with an optional castor kit and thus up-
graded to a mobile working scaffold. Observe the special safety instructions that
apply to this option.
If you have any questions regarding the assembly, use or dismantling of the wor-
king scaffold, please contact your supplier.
Subject to technical changes on the mobile working scaffold.
We will not assume liability for printers error of these Instructions for Assembly and
Use.
1.1 Responsibility of the operator
The operator of the working scaffold is responsible for the following:
The Instructions for Assembly and Use have to be carried along in case of each use as
well as assembly, dismantling and rebuilding.
The operating personnel has to be informed in detail about the contents and the safety
and hazard instructions and regulations of this manual and
ensuring compliance with these.
All national and other applicable statutory regulations must be adhered to.
The working scaffold may only be used for the purpose for which it is
intended.

1.3 Applicable standards, type approval
The mobile aluminium scaffold corresponds to EN 1004.
The technical inspection was made by the TÜV PRODUKT
SERVICE (Admission for construction type).
1.4 Warranty
The warranty terms and conditions are included in the sales and delivery terms of
the supplier. Material defects are covered for 5 years from the date of purchase of
the affected part by the manufacturer‘s warranty. The manufacturer reserves the
right to replace or repair the defective part at its own choice.
The warranty is based on the installation and user manual valid on the day of
purchase of the product. Not covered by warranty are damages caused by any of
the following:
Ignorance of or non-compliance with the instructions in the installation and user
manual and in particular with the safety instructions, instructions on
proper and improper use, maintenance and care instructions, and
instructions for the erection and dismantling of the scaffold.
–Useoftheproductbynotqualiedorinsufcientlyinstructedpersonnel
of the operator.
– Use of spare and/or accessory parts from other suppliers than Krause.
– Use of damaged or defective component parts.
– Subject to technical changes.
Extension of the working height by the use of ladders, boxes and other devices.
1.5 Copyright and other property rights
The manufacturer retains all rights in the installation and user manual.
Reproduction of this document, in whole or in part, is only permitted with the
explicit consent of the manufacturer. All rights for the issue of a patent and the
registered design are reserved by the manufacturer. Noncompliance commits
to compensation!
