The ballast table shows the number of ballasts or outriggers that are required for
the stabilisation of free-standing scaffolds with extended stabiliser, depending on the
height of the scaffold and the mounted elements. If the stabiliser is not extended,
the basic scaffold must be secured with 4 ballasts. For a scaffold consisting of
the basic scaffold and 1
st
extension, you must attach 20 ballasts. Scaffolds
consisting of the base scaffold and the 1
st
and 2
nd
extension elements may not be
assembly with retracted stabilizer.
4.7 Set of stabilisers
Scaffolds used on walls can be leaned against the wall by using a set of
stabilisers.The set of stabilisers prevent the scaffolding from tilting against the
wall. In case of using the sets of stabilisers it is essential to take care that these
sets are always mounted below the top platform.

If required, the scaffold can additionally be attached with the set of stabilisers to
the wall. While attachment to the wall provides additional stability, it cannot substi-
tute ballasts or outriggers, which must be attached according to the table on page

The scaffold can be equipped with castors (prod. no. 714169) and vertically
adjustable castors (prod. no. 914309) available as accessory kits.
