14.3 Removing the rear wheel
Preparatory work
Raise the motorcycle with the rear wheel stand. ( p. 78)

Main work
Remove screw
and pull wheel speed sensor
out of the hole.
Remove nut
and the washer. Remove chain adjuster
.
Holding the rear wheel, withdraw wheel spindle

with the washer and chain
adjuster.
Push the rear wheel forward as far as possible and take the chain off the rear sprocket.
Warning
Danger of accidentsReduced braking effect caused by damaged brake discs.
Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the brake discs are not dam-
aged.
Pull the rear wheel back and take it out of the swingarm.
Info
Do not operate the foot brake when the rear wheel is removed.
