Type of oil Gear oil
When changing the oil, it is recommended to use either an identical mineral oil or
a synthetic oil of type PAO (Poly-Alpha-Olefine) with viscosity grade SAE 80W90.
Oil volume 3.0 L (0.79 US gal)
Viscosity 80W90
Specification API-GL5 (extreme pressure)
- Unscrew dipstick plug (1) and its seal.
- Place a container of sufficient capacity under drain
plug.
- Remove drain plug (2) and its washer.
- Allow oil to drain completely.
- Wait for dripping to stop.
- Clean and reinstall drain plug (2) and its
washer. (Replace if necessary).
- Pour the recommended oil quantity and quality
through the opening of fill/dipstick plug (1).
- Check oil level in upper gearbox:
• The "MAX" level corresponds to the mark on the
dipstick plug.
• The "MIN" level corresponds to the end of the
dipstick plug.
- Clean and reinstall dipstick plug (1) and its
seal. (Replace if necessary).
