Level MaxDpt
Use the Level MaxDpt parameter to set the maximum modulation depth of Level Source 2.
When a Level DepthCtl control source is at its maximum value, Level Source 2 will apply the
amount of modulation set by the Level MaxDpt parameter.
Frequency Modulation Parameters
e right-hand column of the FM Operator page shows Frequency modulation parameters
for the selected Operator. Select an Operator with the Operator parameter to view its
Frequency modulation parameters.
Freq Source 1
Use the Freq Source 1 parameter to modulate the Operator Frequency with a physical
controller or other control source.
Freq Depth
Use the Freq Depth parameter to set the maximum modulation depth of Freq Source 1.
When the Freq Source 1 control source is at its minimum value, Freq Source 1 will have no
eect on the Operator Frequency.
When the Freq Source 1 control source is at its maximum value, Freq Source 1 will apply the
amount of modulation set by the Freq Depth parameter.
Freq Source 1 control source values between the minimum and maximum will scale the
amount of modulation between no eect and the amount set by the Freq Depth parameter.
Freq Source 2
Use the Freq Source 2 parameter to modulate the Operator Frequency with a physical
controller or other control source.
Freq DepthCtl
Use the Freq DepthCtl parameter to modulate the Freq Source 2 modulation depth with a
physical controller or other control source.
When a Freq DepthCtl control source is at its minimum value, the Freq Source 2
modulation depth will be set to the value of the Freq MinDpt parameter.
When a Freq DepthCtl control source is at its maximum value, the Freq Source 2
modulation depth will be set to the value of the Freq MaxDpt parameter.
Freq DepthCtl control source values between the minimum and maximum will scale the
Freq Source 2 modulation depth between the values of the Freq MinDpt and Freq MaxDpt
parameters.
