Operator Level Parameters
e right-hand column of the FM Operator page shows Level modulation parameters for
the selected Operator. Select an Operator with the Operator parameter to view its Level
modulation parameters.
Level Source 1
Use the Level Source 1 parameter to modulate the Operator output Level with a physical
controller or other control source.
Level Depth
Use the Level Depth parameter to set the maximum modulation depth of Level Source 1.
When the Level Source 1 control source is at its minimum value, Level Source 1 will have no
eect on the Operator output Level.
When the Level Source 1 control source is at its maximum value, Level Source 1 will apply
the amount of modulation set by the Level Depth parameter.
Level Source 1 control source values between the minimum and maximum will scale the
amount of modulation between no eect and the amount set by the Level Depth parameter.
Level Source 2
Use the Level Source 2 parameter to modulate the Operator output Level with a physical
controller or other control source.
Level DepthCtl
Use the Level DepthCtl parameter to modulate the Level Source 2 modulation depth with a
physical controller or other control source.
When a Level DepthCtl control source is at its minimum value, the Level Source 2
modulation depth will be set to the value of the Level MinDpt parameter.
When a Level DepthCtl control source is at its maximum value, the Level Source 2
modulation depth will be set to the value of the Level MaxDpt parameter.
Level DepthCtl control source values between the minimum and maximum will scale
the Level Source 2 modulation depth between the values of the Level MinDpt and Level
MaxDpt parameters.
Level MinDpt
Use the Level MinDpt parameter to set the minimum modulation depth of Level Source 2.
When a Level DepthCtl control source is at its minimum value, Level Source 2 will apply the
amount of modulation set by the Level MinDpt parameter.
