Split
Splitting is playing two or more programs on different parts of the keyboard. For example,
usingthesplitfeature,youcanplayapianosoundintheupperregisterandbasssoundinthe
lower register within a single SP2 instrument. Pressing [Split] button will flash the LED on it
andthedisplaywilllooklike<Figure44>.

YoucanselectasplitsoundwithSoundSelectbuttonlikewhenyouselectsoundsforlayering
andtheSP2splitsthekeyboardatapredeterminedpointwhichbydefault,isAb3.

Ifyouwanttochangethisautomaticsplitpoint,pressandholddown[Layer]and[Split]button
atthesametime.TheSP2willindicatethecurrentsplitpointinthedisplay.Triggerakeywhich
