Why Use Effects?
YoucanenhancetheSP2ʹssoundevenmorewiththeinternaleffects.Withreverbs,youcanadd
depthandrealitytotheSP2’ssound.Also,youcanenjoyavarietyofmodulationeffectswhich
candramaticallychangethetimbreofinternalsounds.Byaddingeffectssuchasreverbordelay,
youcanmakeyourSP2soundlikeagrandpianoinaconcerthall.Exploringthesonicpotential
ofyourSP2willbefunandmostofall,youraudiencewillbeimpressedwiththefullandrich

Description
The SP2’s digital multi‐effects consist two independent effect blocks called Effect and Reverb.
You can determine whicheffect block eachprogram or setup goesthorough. We call it Signal
Routing.
The SP2 has 64 effect presets. All of them are available for Effect block. For Reverb block, 30
reverbsareavailable ( these reverbs are also availableforEffectblock ). Thus, most programs
areroutedtoEffectblockbydefault.

Controlling Effect
Basically, most programs and setups have at least one assigned effect. The LEDs in the Effect
andtheReverbblockbuttonscomeonandgooffaccordingtothesettingsforeachprogramor
setup. Activating one of those blocks will turn on the LED in the corresponding button. Of
course,youcanactivateboth blocks if needed. In thiscase, both LEDs are turned on. You can
assignknobstocontrolthewet/drymixofeachblockinthePerformance/Editregion.
