Routing Effect
Routing Effects is determining which block the audio signal will pass through. Literally, the
term“Routing”meansselectingpathsintheSP2’seffectenginealongwhichtosendtheaudio
signalgenerated by thesoundengine.Youcanalsomaketheaudiosignaltemporarilybypass
theeffectenginewithoutreprogrammingtheSP2.<Figure73>
Whenyouselectaprogramorsetup,theLEDsintheEffectandGlobalbuttonswillindicatethe
currenteffectrouting.

Selecting Effect
1. Press[Effect]button
2. Make sure the LED in the [Edit] button is blinking, which means that you are in the
EffectEditingmode.
3. Selectthedesiredeffecttypefromthecategory.Thecategoryincludeschorus,flanger,
delay,compressor,distortion,filter,laserverb,misc.(rotaryspeaker,enhancer,simple
motion, etc.) After you make selection, choose the desire preset with Sound Select
button.
4. Unless you store changes, the effect assignment reverts to its preset state as soon as
youyouselectanotherprogramorsetup.Ifyouchangetheeffectroutingforprogram
orsetupandpreservethechangedsetting,press[Store]button
5. Thedisplaywillaskyoutotobesure.Press[+/Yes]buttontoconfirm.
