U157 Checking the developer drive time
Description
Displays the developer drive time for checking a figure, which is used as a reference when cor-
recting the toner control.
Purpose
To check the developer drive time after replacing the developer unit.
Method
1. Press the start key. The developer drive time of each color is displayed.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
U161 Setting the fuser control temperature
Description
Changes the fuser control temperature.
Purpose
Normally no change is necessary. However, can be used to prevent curling or creasing of paper,
or solve a fuser problem on thick paper.
Setting
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the item to be set.
3. Change the setting value using the cursor left/right keys.
4. Press the start key. The value is set.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
