6. Insert the 8-pin connector of the duplex unit
into the groove of the housing and pull out the
harness.
7. Connect the 8-pin connector of the duplex
unit to the connector of the copier and
arrange wiring so that the harness is placed
down.

8. Insert the removed conveying cover in the
horizontal direction and reattach the front and
rear struts using the screw respectively.
9. Close the conveying cover.
10. Connect the copier power plug to the wall
outlet and turn the copier main switch on.
11. Run maintenance item U034 to adjust the
center line for duplex copying (see page 1-6-
12).
