(6-3) Adjusting the margins for printing
Make the following adjustment if the margins are not correct.

Caution: Check the copy image after the adjustment. If the margins are still incorrect,
perform the above adjustments in maintenance mode.

Enter maintenance mode.
Enter "402" using the numeric keys.
Press the print key.
Press the print key to make a test
copy using A3/11"
× 17" paper.
Press the print key.
The new setting is stored.
Setting range (default)
Printer leading edge margin: 0 - +10.0 (3.0)
Printer trailing edge margin: –5.0 - +10.0 (5.0)
Printer left/right margin: –5.0 - +10.0 (3.0)
Printer trailing edge margin for
duplex copying (secondface): –5.0 - +10.0 (4.0)
Increasing the value makes the margin wider
and decreasing it makes the margin narrower.
Changing the value by 1 moves the margin by
0.1 mm for all.
Select the items
to be adjusted on the touch panel.
Are the margins correct?
Change the setting using the Up/Down keys.
