The heat roller is heated by fixing heaters M or S (H1 or H2) inside it; its surface
temperature is detected by the fixing unit thermistor (FTH) and is regulated by the fixing
heaters turning on and off.
If the fixing section becomes abnormally hot, either the fixing unit thermistor detects it or
fixing unit thermostat (TH) operates, in each case, shutting the power to the fixing
heaters off.
