(3) Detaching and refitting the press roller
Follow the procedure below to replace the press roller.
Procedure
1. Remove the fuser unit (see page 1-5-58).
2. Remove the lower cleaning roller unit (see
page 1-5-59).
3. Turn the nuts of the fuser unit front and rear
with the box end wrench and release the
fuser pressure.

4. Remove the press roller from the fuser unit.
5. Replace the press roller and attach the roller
to the fuser unit.
6. Set the fuser pressure.
7. Refit the fuser unit.
