(6) Detaching and refitting the fuser thermistor M and S
Follow the procedure below to check or replace the fuser thermistor M and S.
Procedure
1. Remove the fuser unit (see page 1-5-58).
2. Remove the upper fuser cover (see page 1-
5-60).
3. Remove each connector.
4. Unhook each wire from each hook.

5. Remove each screw and then remove the
fuser thermistor 1 and 2.
6. Check or replace the fuser thermistor 1 and
2 and attach the thermistors to the fuser
unit.
7. Refit the upper fuser cover to the fuser unit.
8. Refit the fuser unit.
