3.4 XPort™ Installer
You can manually assign the IP address using XPort™ Installer software, which is on the
product CD. If you want to use a serial connection instead of an Ethernet connection to
configure the device, go to Serial Port Login on page 3-9.
3.4.1 Install XPort™ Installer
1. Insert the product CD into your CD-ROM drive. The CD will automatically start and
display the main window.
If the CD does not launch automatically:
a) Click the Start button on the Task Bar and select Run.
b) Enter your CD drive letter, colon, backslash, Launch.exe (e.g., D:\Launch.exe).

2. Click the XPort Installer button. The installation wizard window displays.
3. Respond to the installation wizard prompts.
4. Restart your system.
