Attention:Forpropercoolingandairflow,replacetheservercoverbeforeyouturnontheserver.
Replacingthecover
Usethisinformationtoreinstallthecover.
Toreplacetheservercover,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Makesurethatallcables,adapters,andothercomponentsareinstalledandseatedcorrectly
andthatyouhavenotleftloosetoolsorpartsinsidetheserver.Also,makesurethatallinternal
cablesarecorrectlyrouted.
Beforeyouslidethecoverforward,makesurethatallthetabsonthefront,rear,andsideofthe
coverengagethechassiscorrectly.Ifallthetabsdonotengagethechassiscorrectly,itwillbe
verydifficulttoremovethecoverlater.
Step2.Positionthecoverontopoftheserver.
Step3.Slidethecovertowardthefrontoftheserver.
Step4.Makesurethatthecovercorrectlyengagesalltheinsettabsontheserver.
Step5.Pressdownthebluelatchonthetopofthecover.
