•TheserverprovidestwointernalSASconnectorsandtwoSAS/SATARAIDriser-cardslotsonthesystem

SAS/SATARAIDconnectorandriser-cardslots.YoucanreplacetheLenovoServeRAIDSAS/SATA
adapterwithanoptionalLenovoServeRAIDSAS/SATAadapterintheslot.Forconfigurationinformation,
seetheServeRAIDdocumentationathttp://www.lenovo.com/support.
•Donotsetthemaximumdigitalvideoadapterresolutionabove1600x1200at75HzforanLCDmonitor.
Thisisthehighestresolutionthatissupportedforanyadd-onvideoadapterthatyouinstallintheserver.
•Theserverdoesnotsupportlegacy5VPCIadapters.
•WhenyouinstallanyPCIadapter,thepowercordsmustbedisconnectedfromthepowersourcebefore
youremovethePCIExpressriser-cardassemblyandthePCI-Xriser-cardassembly.Otherwise,the
activepowermanagementeventsignalwillbedisabledbythesystem-boardlogic,andtheWakeonLAN
featuremightnotwork.However,aftertheserverispowered-onlocally,theactivepowermanageractive
powermanagementeventsignalwillbeenabledbythesystem-boardlogic.
•TheserverprovidestwoPCIriser-cardslotsonthesystemboard.IfyouwanttoinstallaPCIExpressor
PCI-Xadapter,youmustorderthePCIriser-cardoption.
•IfyouareinstallingaServeRAID-M5110orServeRAID-M5120adapter,itcanonlybeinstalledinPCI
slot1,2,4,or5.
