CAUTION:Thisequipmentisdesignedtopermittheconnectionoftheearthedconductorofthedcsupply
circuittotheearthingconductorattheequipment.
Thisequipmentisdesignedtopermittheconnectionoftheearthedconductorofthedcsupplycircuittothe
earthingconductorattheequipment.Ifthisconnectionismade,allofthefollowingconditionsmustbemet:
•Thisequipmentshallbeconnecteddirectlytothedcsupplysystemearthingelectrodeconductorortoa
bondingjumperfromanearthingterminalbarorbustowhichthedcsupplysystemearthingelectrode
conductorisconnected.
•Thisequipmentshallbelocatedinthesameimmediatearea(suchas,adjacentcabinets)asanyother
equipmentthathasaconnectionbetweentheearthedconductorofthesamedcsupplycircuitandthe
earthingconductor,andalsothepointofearthingofthedcsystem.Thedcsystemshallnotbeearthed
elsewhere.
•Thedcsupplysourceshallbelocatedwithinthesamepremisesasthisequipment.
•Switchingordisconnectingdevicesshallnotbeintheearthedcircuitconductorbetweenthedcsource
andthepointofconnectionoftheearthingelectrodeconductor.
