tolocatetheHDDbaysinyourserver.
•ForRAIDconfiguration,theSSDsmustbethesametypewiththesamecapacityiftheyarewithinasingle

•ForSSDswithdifferentcapacities,installtheSSDbyfollowingtheorderoftheHDDbaysaswellasthe
orderfromthelowestcapacitytothehighestcapacity.
Removinga2.5-inchSSDfroma3.5-inchHDDbay
Toremovea2.5-inchSSD,dothefollowing:
1.Usethefrontdoorkeytounlockthefrontdoor(availableonsomemodels),andthenopenthefrontdoor.
2.LocatetheappropriateHDDbay.See“Frontviewoftheserver”onpage14.
3.Removethe3.5-inchdrivebracketwiththeSSD.See“Removingahot-swapdrive”onpage77.
4.RemovethefivescrewsthatsecuretheSSDandthedriveadapter.Then,removetheSSDandthe
driveadapterfromthebracket.
