If only the stretching factor is used (the function block is then somewhere elsein the circuit), set the
encoder constant to 16384 incr./rev. Otherwise, the signal will be amplified additionally (lower
values) or attenuated.
When setting negative values in the numerator, the output signal will be inverted.
