Refer to “WATER PUMPINSTALLATION”
section.
Reverse the removal procedure for installation.
NOTE:
zIt is not necessary to disassemble the water
pump, unless there is an abnormality such as
excessive change in coolant temperature and/
or level, discoloration of coolant, or milky
transmission oil.
zIf necessary, replace water pump as an
assembly.
INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
zImpeller shaft
Wear/damage → Replace.
Fur deposits → Clean.
2. Inspect:
zImpeller shaft gear
Wear/damage → Replace.
3. Inspect:
zMechanical seal c
Damage/worn/wear → Replace.
