3.8.3 Monitoring function (digital Oscilloscope)
Quick commissioning and optimization of a LinMot
®
system is supported by the built-in
monitoring function. With it, the reference curves can be compared with the movements
actually executed with no need for additional sensors, etc. The differences between the
two curves can give indirect hints on counteracting forces and friction forces which can
be useful when adjusting the controller parameters. The operation and look of the
monitoring function correspond to those of modern digital oscilloscopes.
