5.4.1.2 Elektroblock EBL 630
Fig. 58: EBL 630
The 12 V supply battery and the Elektroblock "EBL 630" with
charger, control and monitoring functions, are located below the
driver and passenger seat.
If the system is not connected to an external power supply, the
supply battery supplies power to all 12 V consumers. Thus, the
supply battery is continuously discharging.
As soon as the external power supply is established, the
'Elektroblock' will continue to supply power to the equipment. At
the same time, the supply battery is charged. Once the battery is
fully charged, the 'Elektroblock' provides a trickle charge.
Comply with the safety instructions and operating instructions
provided in the manufacturer's documentation for operation!
CAUTION
Fire danger due to heat accumulation!
Supply battery and Elektroblock become hot during
operation and can cause smouldering or fire if heat
cannot be discharged properly.
Never cover the supply battery or the Elektroblock.
Do not misuse the storage space of the supply
battery and the Elektroblock as a storage space
for other objects.
