6.2. Feed pressure and speed
For the pressure to be adjusted, the speed regulator must not be closed completely.
To adjust the feed pressure and speed, the bar-feeder must be in automatic mode.
Block the pusher at the exit of the barrel then proceed as follows :
• The hydraulic pressure indicated on the manometer (A), can be set to between 0.8 and 5 bar,
according to the diameter of the bars and the guidance tubes.
Screwing down the regulator (B), increases the pressure.
• The feed speed can be adjusted to between 50 and 200mm per sec.
Close the regulator slowly until the pressure falls.
Reopen until the pressure stabilises.
In this position the feed speed is at its minimum.
To increase it, unscrew the regulator (C).
