4. MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENTS
Please read the safety precautions described at the beginning of this manual before handling
the following devices.
4.1. Description
The TRYTON 107/112 has several parameters and functions allowing the operator to configure it so that it
adapts as closely as possible to the lathe on which it is installed, as well as to the production mode under
way. This section indicates the activating and setting procedures for these functions.
4.2. Changing the collet
Note: If one of the elements has to be replaced, the pusher may nonetheless be stripped.
Once the replacement parts have been fitted, it will have to be reglued.
The pushers are delivered assembled and the various components that make them up are glued together.
Only the collet is interchangeable according to the diameter of bar.
1) Press the [STOP] key.
2) Press the [MENNU] key.

4) Advance the pusher out of the connector with the stationary control.
5) Unscrew (1) the collet (A) of the rotating ferrule (B), then strip (2) the elements.
Install the new collet.
6) With the stationary control, move pusher back into the connector.
7) To exit adjustment mode, to press the [MENU] or [STOP] key.
To order collets, indicate the article number, followed by the desired internal diameter.
Recommended collet tightening range : ± 0.03mm
