1.1 Methods
Hydrazine
with Vario Liquid Reagent

Use two clean vials (24 mm Ø) and mark one as blank for
zeroing.
1. Fill a clean vial with 10 ml deionised water (this is the
blank).
2. Add 1 ml VARIO Hydra 2 Rgt Solution into the vial
(Note 3).
3. Close the vial tightly with the cap and swirl several times
to mix the contents.
4. Place the vial (the blank) in the sample chamber making
sure that the
marks are aligned.
5. Press ZERO key.
6. Remove the vial from the sample chamber.
7. Fill the second clean vial with 10 ml of the water
sample (this is the sample).
8. Add 1 ml VARIO Hydra 2 Rgt Solution into the vial.
9. Close the vial tightly with the cap and swirl several times
to mix the contents.
10. Place the vial (the blank) in the sample chamber making
sure that the
marks are aligned.
11. Press TEST key.
Wait for a reaction period of 12 minutes.
After the reaction period is finished the measurement
starts automatically.
The result is shown in the display as Hydrazine.
