You can repeat the toolpaths in x and y direction by changing the values in the group
Step and Repeat.
2. Enter the value 2 in the field Y under Number of copies.
3. Enter the value 0 mm in the field X under Spacing between copies.
4. Enter the value 5 mm in the field Y under Spacing between copies.
The field Spacing between copies automatically displays the value for the layout
width. The desired spacing between the layouts has to be added.
5. Click on [Apply].
The layout is copied in y direction.
6. Click on [Continue].
The phase DrillFiducial is started.
The layout has been placed.
Optical markings on the PCB surface – also called fiducials – are needed for aligning
the top and bottom sides exactly to each other. They are drilled into the material in this
phase.
Using fiducials requires a camera system for optical fiducial recognition. This is
included in the E44 as standard equipment. For further information contact the LPKF
Service.
Drilling fiducials (E44 only)
1. Insert the Spiral Drill 1.5 mm into the collet.
2. Click on [OK].
If the spindle motor has not run yet, a 2-minute warm-up phase is started.
The phase Marking Drills is started.
The fiducials have been drilled.
Processing the material (Bottom side)
1. Insert the Universal Cutter into the collet.
2. Click on [OK].
The phase Drilling Unplated is started.
3. Insert the tool that is displayed.
4. Click on [OK].
This phase may require several drilling tools corresponding to the drill diameters.
The phase Milling Bottom is started.
5. Insert the tool that is displayed.
6. Click on [OK].
The phase Flip Material is started.
The material (Bottom side) has been processed.
