FIRST INSPECTION
FIRST INSPECTION (4-STROKE) AFTER THE FIRST 500 KM (300 MI) OR
10 HOURS OF OPERATION, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST
Inspect engine seals and gaskets for leaks
Inspect exhaust system and check for leaks
ENGINE
Check coolant level
FUEL
SYSTEM
Inspect fuel lines and connections
Inspect drive belt
Visually inspect drive pulley
Tighten drive pulley retaining screw to specified torque
Inspect driven pulley
Check driven pulley prelo ad
Adjust and align track
Change chaincase / g earbox oil
Adjust drive chain (Not for mode ls equipped with gearbox)
Check brake fluid level
DRIVE
SYSTEM AND
BRAKE
Inspect brake hose, pads and disk
Inspect steering mechanism
STEERING
SYSTEM
Inspect skis and runners
Tighten frame pyramid rod screws to 14 N•m (124 lbf•in)
FRAME
Retigthen rear member screws to specified torque REX2 35 N•m
(26 lbf•ft))
Inspect front suspension
Inspect rear suspension (including stoppe r straps and slide r shoes)
SUSPENSION
Retighten PPS2 rear axle bolt 1/4 turn.
BODY
Adjust seat lock plate
FIRST INSPECTION (4-STROKE) AFTER THE FIRST 3 000 KM (2,000 MI) OR
1 YEAR OF OPERATION, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST
ENGINE Change engine oil and filter
