Wash the basil. Remove the leaves and pat them dry. Peel the garlic cloves, slice
them in half and discard the central shoots.
Place the garlic, basil, pine nuts, parmesan, pepper and 1 teaspoon salt in the
Mini Bowl.
Pulse approximately 10 times to obtain a smooth mixture.
With the machine running, add the olive oil via the feed tube.
Delicious with pasta.

Peel the garlic and put it in the Mini Bowl.
Blend for 30 seconds and leave the resulting garlic paste at the bottom of the
bowl.
Make the mayonnaise on top of the paste, according to the recipe on p. 26
