21. Secure all wear pads to tele 4 (5) using strap (D). Place
strap around edge of wear pads farthest from the rear
end of tele 4 (5) (see Figure 4-51).
22. Slide front tip of telescope cylinder (6) into tele 4 (5). Set
front tip of cylinder on two blocks of wood (E), one on
each side of cylinder, to prevent cylinder from rolling
over or damaging cables when cylinder is inserted
further into tele 4 (see Figure 4-52).
23. Further insert telescope cylinder (6) into tele 4 (5). Use a
large c-clamp (E) or similar to ensure two tele 4 retract
cables (114) do not get tangled or crossed (see
Figure 4-53).
24. At rear end of tele 4 (5), block up telescope cylinder (6)
9.5 in. (F) off of the top of cables (see Figure 4-54).
