2. Check that O-ring is in position and there
is no dirt or debris on the O-ring or in the
connector with sockets (FIG. 54-1).

4. Apply a thin coating of dielectric grease
around the outer face of the connector
with pins, as shown in FIG. 54-2.

CAUTION
Do NOT apply any dielectric grease to
the pins or inside the connectors.

3. Slide a 2” long piece of 1” diameter heat
shrink sleeving (P/N 905189-04 in parts
box) over the connector.
