STEP 19 - PLATFORM CHAIN ADJUSTMENT 
1. Lower the platform to ground level. 
Check if tip of the fl ipover and bot-
tom of the runners touch the ground 
at the same time (FIG. 88-1).

2. If the bottom of the runners are off the 
ground, measure the distance “H1” 
(FIG. 88-2) from the ground to the 
bottom of the runners. 
 
 • Adjustment is not required if 
    distance “H1” is 1” or less.
 • If distance “H1” is more than 1”, refer  
  to the steps that follow to adjust the   
    platform chains.
