Removing the Chopper Motor Assembly
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Removing the Chopper Motor Ass’y
1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2. Perform the procedures on page 4-19, “Removing the
Sump Assembly” prior to performing the following steps.
3. Remove or loosen clamp from sump side of hose (see
Figure 1).

4. Use a screwdriver to gently loosen the seal between the
grommet and the sump assembly (see Figure 2).

5. Remove Chopper Motor Assembly from sump (see Figure 3).
