Sleep cleaning [SLEEP clean]
To prevent clogging while the power switch has been turned off, ink is ejected from the
head at regular intervals. The head itself must be cleaned also at regular intervals
which are set as shown below.
STEP
1. Push the [FUNCTION] key.
2. Push the [ ] key until the display gives the
indication [MAINTENANCE].
3. Push the [ENTER] key.
[STATION] is displayed.
4. Push the [ ] key until the display gives the
indication [SLEEPclean].
3. Push the [ENTER] key.
5. Push the JOG-key [
] or [ ] as needed to
select the interval.
4h, 8h, 12h, 24h, OFF
6. Push the [ENTER] key.
[SLEEPclean] is displayed.
7. Push the [END] key twice.
This returns the device to LOCAL mode.
