Check to confirm that the main power supply is turned on.
If the main power supply is not turned on, set the switch to “I”.
Once the main power is turned on, the firmware version will appear on the display, and the initial
operation will execute.

Press the [END/POWER] key to turn on power.
The local mode is set, and the machine is ready for use.

Turn on the power for the connected PC.
Turning Off the Power
Check the following when turning off power:
(1) The front cover and maintenance covers are closed. If any covers are open, the automatic maintenance function is
disabled; this may cause the product to fail.
(2) The carriage has returned to the capping station. If not, the print head nozzle may dry out, resulting in printing
defects (e.g., nozzle clogging, deflection).
(3) No print data or cutting data remains.
(4) No errors have occurred. "Problems indicated by messages"(P. 121)

Turn off the power to the PC connected.

Hold down the [END/POWER] key.
A power off confirmation screen appears. Press the [ENTER] key to turn the power off.
