7−8. Tare weight cancelation (A/Z)
The instrument prepares Tare weight cancellation (A/Z) function.
Pressing the “A/Z A” key makes Tare weight cancellation (A/Z) function operated and when the
load display becomes net weight display, the “A/Z” lights up on the display and load display value
becomes “0” at the same time.
Moreover, when the “A/Z OFF Y” key is pressed, Tare weight cancellation (A/Z OFF) function will
activate and at the same time when the load display value becomes gross weight, the “A/Z” on the
status display will put off. Also, executing the Function F−98 makes the same work as Tare weight
cancellation clear (A/Z OFF).
7−9. Zero set
The instrument prepares zero set function.
When the display value on load display is within 10 % against the maximum display value (Refer to
the chapter 5.), pressing the “ZERO” key makes zero set function operated and the display will
show “0” compulsively.
However, zero set will not be accepted after total ±10 % of zero compensation is executed with zero
set. (ERR−0 display)
Also, the same operation can be made with the operation of “ZERO” at the input signal of external
control. Cancellation for data which applied zero compensation by zero set can be executed with
Function F−98.
● When tare weight cancellation (A/Z) is executed(during A/Z display
lights up), zero set will not be accepted. Display will show “ERR−5”.
When zero set is desired to execute, execute after Tare weight
cancellation clear (A/Z OFF) has been completed.
7−10. Digital Tare weight cancellation
The instrument prepares digital Tare weight cancellation function.
When known tare weight is included to the load going to measure, the tare weight can be registered
by the function previously and cancellation can be made.
When “Effective” for digital Tare weight cancellation is selected with the Function F−59, the Net
weight will be the value that comes from “Digital Tare weight cancellation value” subtracted from
“Gross weight”.

D When measuring the vessel of 500 kg of self−weight on the platform scale of 2000 kg,
(“2 000” display with the load display of 2 000 kg) and only the display of contents weight
of vessel is required, set the Function F−59 to be “0001” and also set the digital Tare
weight cancellation to be “Effective” and set the Function F−60 to be “00500”, then load
display will show “−500” without applying the vessel on the platform scale. (0 kg of load
condition) In due course, the load display shows “0” when empty vessel is applied.
