To view the handset’s software version, enter #34# in Idle mode or go into the Main menu →
Settings → Device info.
Software and parameters in the handset can be upgraded using the following tools:
•
The Mitel 5634 Desktop Programmer connected to the WinPDM, refer to the
WinPDM Installation and
Operation Manual
.
•
The WSM3/CPDM3, refer to the
WSM3/CPDM3 Installation and Operation Manual
or the
WSM3/CPDM3 User Manual
.

Device Information
In the Device Info menu, you can view information about the handset, which can be useful when
contacting the system administrator to get support:
•
Software version
•
Hardware version
•
License
•
WLAN info
•
Network info
•
User ID
To open the Device info menu on the handset, do one of the following:
•
Go into the Main menu → Settings → Device info.
•
Enter the Admin menu (refer to the 8.6.11 Administrator Menu, page 46) and select Device info.
•
In idle mode, press the keys #DI#, that is #34# (DI as in Device Information).

Software Upgrade and Additional Features
Software and parameters in the handset can be changed by using the WinPDM/WSM3/CPDM3 DM.
